School Library Journal
November 1, 2017
PreS-Gr 1-Children and librarians alike will enjoy this charming new addition to the series. Similar in style to the beloved "Elephant and Piggie" series by Mo Willems, Yoon's bright and humorous characters return to a story, speaking via speech bubbles with a strong black font. The narrative is presented in three short chapters with quirky animal characters, reminiscent of the "Poppleton" series by Cynthia Rylant. The first story titled, "That's My Book!" will make a nice read-aloud for introducing students to the library and inform them about the best use of books (hint: they're for reading, not for playing dominos!). Although the punch line of the second chapter doesn't land quite as strongly, the final chapter is filled with the wit and humor that makes the series so enjoyable. VERDICT A great choice for beginning reader collections.-Maria Alegre, The Dalton School, New York

The Horn Book
January 1, 2018
The comedic trio is back in their third collection of easy-reader vignettes. As usual, Big Duck and Porcupine get a little confused about things, while Little Duck knows what's really going on. When Little Duck breaks the fourth wall, emergent readers will gleefully nod in agreement. The bright digital illustrations lend Yoon's characters additional personality and spunk.(Copyright 2018 by The Horn Book, Incorporated, Boston. All rights reserved.)
